Sono nata a Milano nel 1961, ho frequentato il Liceo Artistico e l’Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) di Milano.
Spinta dal bisogno di conoscenza, ho seguito corsi di specializzazione in Trompe L’Oeil presso la Artis School di Milano e mi sono perfezionata nella decorazione e restauro del mobile sotto la guida di artigiani professionisti.
Mi definiscono “artista poliedrica”; l’esigenza di sperimentare mi ha portato ad una costante ricerca di materiali da utilizzare nelle opere. La voglia di superare i limiti ed i confini l’ho riversata nelle mie opere facendo sì che il supporto su cui dipingo diventa esso stesso il mio pensiero, la mia emozione.
Per realizzare questo, prendo delle cornici o telai di supporto a cui sovrappongo il tessuto; lo tratto poi con una mescola di cemento e colla vinilica per indurirlo, parte viene teso ed inchiodato, parte modellato e fatto fuoriuscire dalla cornice.
E’ su questa preparazione che dipingo e prende vita l’opera d’arte.
Oltre ai miei dipinti, creo anche lampade che raccontano momenti di vita e monili, utilizzando cose riciclate o che trovo in natura come foglie o terra che sono in simbiosi con me e con ciò che mi circonda e mi dà forza vitale.
Ho imparato ad ascoltare il mio corpo per raggiungere la mia anima, ho imparato a vedere con occhi “diversi” la Natura che mi circonda facendo passeggiate in campagna dove abito.
Mi sono lasciata guidare da tutto questo per imparare a far uscire le emozioni e sensazioni imprigionate dentro di me ed a riportarle su tela o qualsiasi altro supporto abbia a disposizione.
Quando guardo i miei quadri vedo rappresentata la mia storia, ognuno è un episodio della mia vita e potrei raccontare ogni singola macchia di colore …
Ho partecipato a numerose mostre collettive in Italia ed all’Estero; ho fatto personali in Italia le mie opere sono in collezioni private e presenti sul Catalogo dell’Arte Moderna n. 56 e 57
Was born in Milan in 1961, I attended the Art School and the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan.
Driven by the need for knowledge, I followed specialization courses in Trompe L’Oeil at the Artis School in Milan and I specialized in the decoration and restoration of furniture under the guidance of professional craftsmen.
They call me a “multifaceted artist”; the need to experiment led me to constantly search for materials to use in the works. I have poured the desire to overcome limits and boundaries into my works, ensuring that the support on which I paint itself becomes my thoughts, my emotion.
To achieve this, I take some frames or support frames on which I overlap the fabric; I then treat it with a mixture of cement and vinyl glue to harden it, part of it is stretched and nailed, part of it is modeled and made to come out of the frame.
It is on this preparation that I paint and the work of art comes to life.
In addition to my paintings, I also create lamps that tell moments of life and jewellery, using recycled things or things that I find in nature such as leaves or earth that are in symbiosis with me and with what surrounds me and gives me life force.
I learned to listen to my body to reach my soul, I learned to see the nature that surrounds me with “different” eyes by taking walks in the countryside where I live.
I let myself be guided by all this to learn how to release the emotions and sensations imprisoned within me and bring them back onto canvas or any other support I have available.
When I look at my paintings I see my story represented, each one is an episode of my life and I could tell every single spot of color…
I have participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad; I have had solo exhibitions in Italy, my works are in private collections and present in the Catalog of Modern Art n. 56 and 57
